Lorne Elliot - One Man Comedy - Meaford

Lorne Elliott has performed from Newfoundland to New York City, from Los Angeles to Australia and points in between. Lorne started performing in 1974 as a folk musician in East Coast Canada. At the same time he kept writing fiction as well as songs, monologues and one-liners. The outcome of such training is a very special show of comedy and music, totally original, entertaining, up-lifting and foolish enough to make everybody laugh. Along with his unique and wacky performance style, it is the timelessness of his material, joined with keen observations of today's trends that make Lorne Elliott's work so special. Showtime is 8pm, tickets are $35.

AARON GARNER LIVE RECORDING SHOW @ GAYETY THEATRE NOV.24TH!!!

    Hey everyone,
I'm thrilled to announce that the demo tracks at http://www.myspace.com/aarongarner represent just some of the songs that I'll be recording for my official NEW ACOUSTIC CD at The Gayety Theatre in Collingwood on Saturday November 24 before a live studio audience!
I've invited some very special guests to join me on stage that evening to be a part of the recording event and play some songs with me. These exciting performers include KELLY "MR. CHILL" HOPPE", harmonica king extrodinaire of Canadian supergroup BIG SUGAR, PATRICK BALLANTYNE (writer of many hits for Big Sugar and The Trews, also co-writer of material on my project), SCOTT DONNELLY and BRIAN LAHAIE of SUPERSTACK, my fellow Collingwood performer JASON REDMAN, RICK GARNER (my dad), and more!
Audience members will be "investors" in the project, each receiving a CD when the discs are manufactured. Be part of a unique experience ~ a recording session for an official release, rocking out with some of Canada's best performers in a classic theatre venue, and a CD in your hands when it's ready to go.
I've posted the event on Facebook and Myspace, however everyone is welcome, the more the merrier!
Tickets will be available for sale shortly, contact me if you plan to attend at aarongarnerinfo@hotmail.com for details!
