| Council assigns committee jobs |

| COLLINGWOOD - The jobs have now been doled out. |
| Last week, council accepted the recommendations of the
striking committee - Mayor Terry Geddes, Deputy Mayor Tim McNabb and Councilor
Sandra Cooper - in naming councilors to committees. |
| On Monday night, council was expected to follow up with the
public appointments to committees. |

| Based on the motions on the agenda for Monday (the
decisions were made after the E-B's press time), the following
committees and members were approved: |
| Fence Viewers and Property Standards: James Allin, James
Rowland, Ben Parr. |
| Parks Recreation and Culture: Kay Maxim, John Hill, Marion
Lewis, Cindy Baker-Barill. |
| Museum advisory: Janet Trimble, David Edwards. |
| Library Board: Victor Vandergust, Donna Mansfield,
Joyce Verway-Hoppe, Riki Pycha, David Ripley. |
| Local Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee (LACAC):
Ed Christie. |
| The Jobs for councilors were determined last week as
follows: |
| Mayor Terry Geddes: PUC/Collus, Police Services
Board, (the mayor is also an x officio member on every committee). |
| Deputy Mayor Tim McNabb: finance, Police Services Board,
Economic Development. |
| Sandra Cooper: Economic Development, harbourlands, PUC/Collus. |
| Joe Gardhouse: Public Works, Site Development,
Harbourlands, Sister City (Boone). |
| Rick Lloyd: Public Words, Imaging (includes signs,
BIA, LACAC), Library Board. |
| Chris Carrier: Parks, Recreation and Culture, Youth,
Conservation Authority (NVCA), Vision 20/20. |
| Bev Willis: Fire, Public Works, Hospital Board. |
