| Vision 20/20 updates community on
Blueprint |

| COLLINGWOOD - The vision of the community is in your hands. |
| Vision 20/20, the committee which spent two years researching
the impact of growth on Collingwood, produced a brochure highlighting the
200-plus recommendations in its Blueprint. |
| Among other things, the brochure highlights the "eight
commandments" as gleaned through the Supreme Ruler survey, which
resulted in about 1,500 responses and nearly 20,000 ideas for the future
of the community. |
| The brochure in today's paper is a very abridged version of
the full report, which is available at the Collingwood Public Library - or
for sale through the town's economic development apartment. |
| "It's our report to the people on what we've learned
and what's been said about the vision of Collingwood, and what we aspire
to be," said committee chair Marg Scheben-Edey. She added the
brochure was the easiest way to get the report "into the hands of every
house in Collingwood," as the full report is more than 100 pages. |
| "Our hope is it will inspire people to keep the vision
alive, and work toward fulfilling it," she said. |
