Jaguar Triple Crown Series back for third
season
TORONTO, May 23 /CNW/ - The event challenging the show jumping skills of top
riders and their horses, kicks off its third season this June in Bromont,
Quebec.
The rider of the Jaguar Triple Crown Series who accumulates the most
points over three horse shows, will drive away in a Jaguar X-TYPE sport sedan
for a year. The shows will take place in Bromont, Quebec, Nepean, Ontario and
Collingwood, Ontario, respectively.
"With the success of the Jaguar Triple Crown events over the last two
years, we anticipate a third summer of intense competition in this prestigious
event," said Jacques Parent, vice president marketing for Aston Martin Jaguar
Land Rover Canada. "This year, we look forward to awarding the winner with the
keys to a Jaguar X-TYPE."
Jay Hayes drove away in a Jaguar X-TYPE after winning last year's Jaguar
Triple Crown. He accumulated a total of 52 points with the help of his
eleven-year-old bay Hanoverian mare, Diva.
The Jaguar Triple Crown Series continues to be a tremendous success,
attracting more than 25,000 spectators at each event in 2001 and hopes to
continue that success this summer.
