Canadian death toll in

Fifty-one Canadian soldiers and one diplomat have been
killed since the Canadian military deployed to Afghanistan
in early 2002.
Six Canadian soldiers died in southern Afghanistan as a
result of injuries sustained when the vehicle they were
travelling in hit an explosive device. One other soldier was
